Banbury Out of National 20/20

Banbury were beaten by Horspath in the National 20/20 last night by 34 runs in a high scoring game on Horspaths small ground.Losing the toss and being asked to field Banbury were hampered by the fact that two players were caught in traffic and we had to field with 9 men for 6 overs ,but the Horspath openers Robbie Eason and Jimmy Phillips[no not that one] put on 140 for the first wicket,both batted really well,when both were out Banbury pulled it back at the death as Horspth finished on...

Youth CricketBanbury Cricket Club is dedicated to the development of youth cricket. In recent seasons the youth section has expanded significantly and experienced great success in both local competitions and in supplying Oxfordshires County age group teams with a growing number of cricketers.

The Youth Section is very generously sponsored by local accountants, Whitley Stimpson. As a result of this sponsorship we are able to provide coaching both indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We currently run 8 youth sides. All new youth members are always welcome.
