Amalgamation sets exciting future for cricket in Banbury

Banbury Cricket Club and Banbury Twenty Cricket Club are pleased to announce the amalgamation of their cricket playing interests. The union, effective immediately, was made after votes from the membership of each club at their respective AGMs. The move has been made in order to provide the best possible standard of cricket within the town. Youth Indoor Nets!

Further to other posts on the site, we are now able to confirm the details of all the indoor nets for the Youth and Ladies section. U11's

  • Drayton school
  • Alternate Friday nights from 6.30-8pm
  • First session 27th Jan, then 10th Feb, 24th Feb, 9th March, finishing on 23rd March

Youth CricketBanbury Cricket Club is dedicated to the development of youth cricket. In recent seasons the youth section has expanded significantly and experienced great success in both local competitions and in supplying Oxfordshires County age group teams with a growing number of cricketers.

The Youth Section is very generously sponsored by local accountants, Whitley Stimpson. As a result of this sponsorship we are able to provide coaching both indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We currently run 8 youth sides. All new youth members are always welcome.
