Profile: I joined Banbury Cricket Club in 1993 playing for the youth team before playing for the Sunday seconds at the tender age of 15. At the time, the Sunday Seconds was run by the likes of Julian Briggs, Wil Brooks, David Rose and Simon Purnell, and it is these guys I hold responsible for introducing me to the sunday session. The Sunday Session always resulted in plenty of drinking games at the Grange Road pavillion until the early hours which resulted in me going to school on the monday still pissed! Thanks guys... my education suffered!!!
Since then I have been captain of the Third XI on several occasions and take an active role in the running of the club as part of the general committee. |
